Is shooting film in RAW worth the extra $?
I think a lot of professionals miss the point when shooting in RAW. A lot of DPs come across as insulted that they need to shoot in RAW, as in you are saying they might mess something up. However, I would love to hear a true colorists thought on grading RAW vs standard files. From experience, and I’m not a colorist by any means, I love grading RAW instead of something that has all the data already baked in.
