Mesrine: Public Enemy Number 1. So good. One of the best angles in a car chase scene I have scene.
This has some of the best cinematography I have seen in a while. Very raw looking and almost an older style. I love the zooms and the creativity done with the basics. Hats off to the production team. This reminds me of another french film, Delicatessen. They are nothing alike, except that they are able to capture images and the story in a way that is very hard for other to do, the only people that even com close would be Scorsese or Kubrick type directors…
